Avon Riding Centre is proud of its strong connection with the community of Bristol and the surrounding area. In return for the support we get from the community, we are happy to make a contribution that goes beyond our direct charitable activity.

Among the various community initiatives we have undertaken are:

*  Accepting volunteers with learning difficulties
*  Working with the Probation Service in support of Community Service Orders
*  Working with the Prison Service in connection with prison pre-release schemes
*  Providing work to artists on a drugs rehabilitation project
*  Working with local authorities to provide tuition tailored to the particular needs of their Special Schools
*  Hosting visits from local and overseas organisations
*  Assisting individuals’ Duke of Edinburgh Award Projects
*  Work Experience students from local secondary schools
